Land and/or Buildings
South River Development Corporation is delighted to consider offers involving land and/or buildings in the Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County areas. There are several ways that you can offer your property to South River Development Corporation.
- Donation, of course, would be amazing!
- Tax-advantaged sales allow SRDC to purchase your property while you are able to write off a portion of the sale price. SRDC is more than happy to set up a meeting with our tax advisors to review this process with you.
- Development partnerships between you and SRDC take a lot of negotiation and cooperation but can open up new funding sources or improve the likelihood of receiving other funding.
- Management agreements are possible in very limited circumstances – typically only to government or non-profit entities.
